- Mainly using the telephone, email and the web to target potential customers.
- Generate appointments from list qualified by Business Development Director.
- Devise and develop a planned approach toward identifying new customers.
- Maintain and develop the existing database of potential customers.
- Market research to find new potential customers and new markets to diversify into.
- Market research and lead qualification with potential Offset customers.
- Possible visits to potential customers, occasionally following up leads created.
- Co-ordinate / assist with preparations for attending exhibitions and travel.
- Liaise with external agencies regards various types of PR activities.
- Help co-ordinate and administer bids, tenders and new customer introduction.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Education (degree) is essential.
- Must have previous Sales and Marketing experience.
- Preferable experience of working for an engineering / manufacturing company.
- A second language (German/French) would be an advantage.
- The ability to use modern computerised tools such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- You will possess excellent communication skills along with a professional telephone manner.
