Exciting opportunity to join a reputable Accountancy firm, dealing with the accounting requirements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
As an Assistant Accountant / Accounts Senior, you will prepare accounts for a variety of businesses within different industrial sectors, undertake payroll duties and meet clients to both understand and discuss their financial position. A thorough knowledge of VAT & tax is essential as is exposure to working within an accountancy practice.
Ideally, you will be AAT qualified with a good working knowledge of Excel and Sage. What is paramount here is not only a thorough understanding of double entry bookkeeping and good IT skills, but an inquisitive mind and a positive attitude to work. A great role for someone who is looking to progress with a diverse range of portfolio and which is certainly reflected in the salary!
