| My client is a innovative Medical Device company, with a recent business win they are now recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer. We are looking for imaginative, independent minded individuals with a passion for innovation and a desire to work as part of a motivated team in a challenging and rewarding environment. We currently have vacancies for Mechanical Design Engineers to work on their own initiative within a small team of Engineers involved in the design, prototyping and manufacture of miniature drug infusion products. Skills and experience in the following areas are required: HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Track record of intricate and creative design skills. Experience with Class 2 medical devices (or other high risk products e.g. aerospace) preferably infusion products. Experience in products with miniature components would be a plus. 3D CAD - Ideally Solid Works. 'Full lifecycle'& hands on approach to engineering. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Excellent organisation & time management skills. Working to FDA and European Medical Device standards (ISO13485).
